CHRIS DOWNHAM

Founder & Performance Coach

Chris Downham brings a wealth of experience to Outliers as its founder and director. His journey in elite sport began as a Junior International for England, followed by a decade immersed in academies and institutions including Newcastle Falcons and Sedbergh School, where he captained the 1st XV.

He’s coached at national league, representative, university and collegiate level, working with individuals who now compete at premiership and international level. Chris’s passion lies in holistic development—helping athletes maximise their potential while safeguarding their physical and mental wellbeing.

EVIE TONKIN
